Mission Statement
The Christopher Dock Learning Support Department seeks to support and teach students with academic, social/emotional, and physical differences. As an advocate of the student, the learning support department strives to maximize the students’ strengths and build on their weaknesses. The department is committed to preparing students for transition into the community beyond Christopher Dock.

Take part in adaptive physical education
Communicate with medical personnel
Academic
Use modifications and accommodations
Receive additional time for testing and homework when needed
Receive additional assistance from peer tutors
Reflect on self and work on improving areas of weakness
Demonstrate organization skills

Receive progress grades when needed
Receive individual instruction
Assemble a portfolio of written work (English Skills)
