20-year Reunion
Class of 1989 Reunion
By Audrey Miller
The class of 1989 met on a beautiful October evening at the Whiskey River Grille for a time to reminiscence and get caught up with each other. The group was filled with laughter and surprise as class members arrived and familiar faces were seen. The class had a wonderful turnout of 30 members plus spouses. We were thrilled to have Manuel Carvallo, an exchange student our senior year, join us all the way from Chile. Other classmates traveled a distance as well joining us from Colorado, Maine, New Jersey, Illinois and Indiana. The common questions of what we have been doing, how our families are and how much someone may or may not have changed filled the evening. The class members spent time remembering our days at CD with viewing old video and pictures that were compiled by class members. 80’s trivia was a good time to bring back memories of long forgotten things. Many of us didn’t remember the cost of gas or who was Vice President of the US, the year we graduated. The evening too quickly came to an end. Goodbyes were said with promises to stay in better touch this time!
